Always fancied Cuba?
Ever tried The Cuban Place Mojito?
We need your help to grow our scholarship funding to enable clients like Lily at WAGEC to rejoin the workforce. This is a ‘hand up’ vs a ‘hand out’ and is in keeping with Rotary’s aim to help women at risk regain self esteem and take their rightful place in the community.
Get into the vibe with a sand floor as if you were in Havana, loads of atmosphere and why not come dressed with a touch of Cuba.
Expect a night with salsa and bachata entertainment by Antonio and inspired Cuban and South American food.
Wash it all down with a Mojito at the Sydney home of Mojito’s.
Be enticed to donate via our terrific Rotary raffle, silent auction and much more ways to help grow our scholarship funding.
WAGEC provides an essential community service for women and children who would otherwise be living and sleeping rough on Sydney’s streets.
Unable to attend, you can donate to our crowdfunding site where every $4000 raised will enable a WAGEC client to benefit from a TAFE scholarship and re-enter the workforce.
Essential information: No ticket refunds will be allowed. All proceeds raised on the night will be used for WAGEC TAFE scholarships program and any surplus will be used for The Darlings many local community programs. Rotary does not retain monies for administration costs.
*Please note that we have received a discounted booking fee rate for ‘A night in Cuba’ event.
