Event Info:

In 2017, the Annual Forum returns to Melbourne, to be hosted by the Australian Communities Foundation, the Inner North Community Foundation and the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.

Taking place across three days, the program features a mix of the practical and the inspirational, featuring interactive workshops and keynotes from international and local sector leaders, advisors, experts and thought leaders.

This year’s theme will explore the SMIRF capital of Community Foundations; that is the premise that meaningful change is achieved when Community Foundations leverage all forms of their capital; Social, Moral, Intellectual, Reputational as well as Financial; building networks and connections to foster a sense of belonging, reflecting and protecting our community’s values, leveraging our deep local knowledge, and using our positions as trusted local leaders to lift-up, empower and enfranchise community organisations or citizen groups that are often over-looked and disadvantaged.
